With this particular re-trim we had to fit late model VT seats in this VR
Commodore. This was not a straight forward fit and a bit of work was involved
to make them look like they belong in the vehicle.
It is important to us to make all work safe and comply with RTA standards, so
we eliminate in most cases the need to create new mounting points in the
vehicle's we work on, which therefore makes it an easier task to get an
engineers certificate. Sometimes it easier said than done.
The rear seats are the original set but have been bolstered with headrests
added to make them look in keeping with the front seats. The leather was
perforated in the seat inserts but cannot be seen in these pics.
